I really like the metal legs on this coffee table and am glad I purchased. I wish the top were not so distressed as to look fake. After assembling it, the first thing I did was remove the white chalky substance that was rubbed into the table crevices (dug it out with a pin). The second thing was to apply a matte furniture wax to the top to make it waterproof (the top is unfinished).

Wanted this table for awhile and finally got it. Happy with my purchase was easy to put together... if you have very small space this table is not for you.
