I purchased the HAMBURG 79'' table in January of 2017. We're now in September 2018 and I decided to review the product because I've been thinking about getting a second one. You see, my table gets A LOT of use. I not only use it to eat meals, but I'm a pretty active table top board gamer and all my friends come over for game night. You see, my table gets A LOT of use. I not only use it to eat meals, but I'm a pretty active table top board gamer and all my friends come over for game night. The table is large enough to easily accommodate 6 people comfortably, 2 on either side and 1 on each end. The table is very sturdy, which is important because I'm a big guy who has never been gentle on any of my belongings. While I normally have a cloth table cover over it, I do occasionally remove it, exposing the table proper. When i do that, I always get great comments about how nice the wood is. It really is a good looking product, and for the price, I feel it's a great value. Highly recommend.

Designer look - rough around the edges

Love the style of this table and the overall sturdiness but the hand-hewn quality to it is rough to the touch. You can feel teeny tiny splinters are you run your hands across it. Makes it a little challenging to wipe down as it tends to snag the cloth. Also, I found the colour to be a lot darker than it appears in most of the pics on the website. I was hoping it would be a little lighter in colour. However, overall we are pleased with our purchase.
