I have had my Madras bookshelf for over a year now and just love it. This is an amazingly solid and beautiful piece of furniture. The vertical bar not only looks so unique, but is very functional as well, adding incredible stability. Each shelf is screwed right into that bar so there is no end to the weight that can be placed on each shelf. And the varied vertical area between each shelf is just so awesome. Great for books intermingled with art pieces. I love it. I love it.
