With Taylor, you get the best of both worlds: it’s a gorgeous sectional that allows stretching out, all the while being compact enough for small condo-like spaces. Forget choosing between versions of the same model, Taylor’s chaise is easily interchangeable. Simply rearrange the cushions and move the ottoman to, almost magically, move the lounge chair from left to right. The only thing to decide is which one of its stunning hues goes best with your décor!

Love it!

Claire, Toronto, Ontario

I was very concerned about buying a sofa that had zero reviews and that I had no way of seeing/feeling in person, so I did a lot of research into Structube sofas and vowed to write a detailed review so no one else had to go through the anxiety I did when purchasing the beautiful Taylor sofa! I'm so glad I took a chance on it and so glad I did my research so I knew what to expect from my purchase.

Pros:
-It's beautiful! I was worried the pink would be too muted like some other pink sofas ...

I was worried the pink would be too muted like some other pink sofas that have been reviewed from Structube, but that is not the case. The pink is classic but vivid, there's no confusion about is it beige, is it purple. It's a nice rose colour, slightly heathered with a lighter version of the main pink colour? I'm not an expert but I'd say it's a cool pink, with blue undertones. I have neutral beige/grey walls and the pink looks perfect.
-Soooo easy to assemble. All I had to do was screw in the legs (4 on the main sofa plus 1 middle support and 4 on the 'sectional' piece.) I was able to do it by myself and from opening the box to placing the last cushion it took me about 45 minutes. All the hardware and the Allen key are included and I had no issues getting anything to thread properly. Sometimes the angle of the Allen key was a bit tough to turn (I had to take it out and reinsert it to avoid the leg) but that's not uncommon. I was able to mostly screw in the bolts by hand and only had to tighten with the key.
-It's very sturdy! I know my floors are uneven, everything in my apartment has been adjusted to stop the wobble, but I've had no issues with this couch. I was also able to sit on the arm and didn't feel like anything would break! I won't make a habit of this but I'm also not concerned if it happens.
-It's comfy! I've napped, binge-watched shows, and worked from this sofa. It is firm, which isn't something I'm normally a fan of, however from all the people I've spoken to who have Structube sofas they all say that it will soften up over time. In the meantime, the firmness is not a deal-breaker and I feel like it may be even better for my back/neck.
-Delivery was a breeze and everything arrived on time. I was super worried about lining up the delivery with my condo elevator booking plus covid precautions but I had no issues. I was told the delivery time was non-negotiable, but after getting the confirmation phone call, I spoke to a representative about my situation and while they didn't make any promises, the delivery people didn't arrive until after I asked them to! They carried everything into my unit and were super fast, clean, and wore masks. It was a great experience.
-The fabric is so soft and comfortable, I love it! It has a microfiber feel to it, but it's definitely not microfiber. I think it has the potential to pill, but I have no issues taking my fabric shaver to it. I've had it for about a week and there is no pilling yet.
-The interchangeable sectional/footstool is a lifesaver! I'm in a small condo and I wasn't sure if having the sectional beside my office space would be better or if it should be by my dining room space. So the option to choose and change it up is awesome. I wish I could get extra cushions so I could use the sectional piece as a footstool on its own.

Cons
-It has a low back. I wasn't sure how comfortable it would be, but I've found a way to use the included cushions and my own cushions so that I feel comfortable and supported while sitting on my sofa. The small cushions that come with the sofa can be used as lumbar support behind your back or head/neck support if you rest them on the back of the couch (mine is against a wall). I'm 5'5 so the low back isn't super significant for me but maybe taller people would notice it more.
-There's a weird gap between the arm and the back of the couch. It's purely aesthetic and I think it's more obvious in online photos than in real life. I was worried it would make the couch feel flimsy but it doesn't seem to have any impact on the structural integrity. I cover it with a cushion and I'll probably forget it's there.
-The middle support leg doesn't reach the ground! This could be a result of my uneven floors, but I extended the support to as long as it would go and it doesn't reach my floor. I wedged a piece of cardboard under it so it's flush and I don't get any sagging.
-There are nicks on the legs. They're a dark wood finish so it's pretty noticeable. It must have happened during production because they were really well packaged and nothing was touching or rolling around loose. However, they were easily fixed with a dollar store wood marker!

Overall I would definitely recommend the Taylor sofa, I think it could be super versatile, working well in an office, a single-person home, or a family room! It is firm for now but I think it's going to soften up and it was so much easier to assemble than IKEA!

Beautiful compact sectional

Nora, Montreal, Quebec

Very nice sectional, a little stiff but looks really beautiful. It fits perfect in our small condo and the colour (beige) is absolutely beautiful!
